Training

Training at Brier Bank Farm is done by Gay and David Anderson.  Gay and David both focus on the individual and different needs of each horse and/or horse and rider combination.  At Brier Bank Farm, we realize that every horse is different and comes with different needs; therefore there is no 'singular' training plan for all horses.  We can work with any type of horse, no matter what issues are present, and we welcome owners to share their goals with us for their horses.

Lessons

Private lessons are taught by head instructor Gay Anderson and assistant instructor David Anderson.  Riders are taught on a personal level, and both Gay and David custom-tailor their teaching approach for each student.  Generally David starts students off with lessons focusing on essential horsemanship skills, and many students go on to do more advanced work with Gay.  We have several school horses to choose from for lessons, but those wishing instruction on their own horses are welcome as well.  Lesson times are currently available all 7 days of the week.  Gay's lessons are $30.00 per half hour; David's lessons are $20.00 per half hour.  Contact us for more information on special rates, lesson packages, and discounts for new students!

Clinics

Throughout our 30+ years of business, we have been proud to host top clinicians of the English riding discipline.  For information on current clinics, including information for both riders and auditors, please visit our clinics page.

Horse Camps
