David Anderson - Instructor/Trainer
E-mail David

David Anderson has been riding and training horses for over 15 years at Brier Bank Farm. Since falling in love with his first pony, Chocolate Fudge, he has worked with a variety of breeds and sizes.

David specializes in working with young horses and young students. He has competed in lower level dressage and hunters, receiving recognition from the USDF and other local organizations.

David has had the opportunity to work with several well-known clinicians in the field of dressage, including Dr. Thomas and Shana Ritter, Lee Tubman, Simon Battram, Gigi Nutter, and Ed Rothkranz, learning the fundamentals of classical dressage training which David passes along to all of his students and horses in training.

When he isn't teaching and training on the farm, he can be found working on his music and education degrees in college. David hopes to continue his education and competition in horses and pursue the USDF Instructor's Certification program in the near future.

Chanda Mills - Equestrian Center Coordinator
E-mail Chanda

chandaChanda Mills is the backbone of Brier Bank Farm's programming for tours, camps, and parties. She previously ran a successful school tour program and managed advertising at Mills Apple Farm and has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program and marketing.

Chanda became interested in horses during her teen years, learning to ride and care for all different types of equines.

Chanda enjoys working with all kinds of animals. Her dog, Romeo, can always be found running around our farm greeting visitors. Her cow, Cindy Loo Moo keeps the fields nicely mowed, and her cats keep the mice at bay in the barn. Her pride and joy, however, is her Trakehner filly, Ithika, which she has high hopes for.

Chanda is currently finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and stays busy working with our animals, planning and coordinating summer camps, school tours, birthday parties, and planning her upcoming wedding to fiancé David Anderson.
