Ithika is a beautiful 2008 bay filly. She was the last foal born by the late stallion Troy out of our former 2004 Marine, IL inspection reserve champion mare Ilmy vom Castell, who achieved an overall score of 55.
Ithika is registered with the American Trakehner Association and was presented for voluntary inspection marks in September 2009, receiving scores of 8,7,8. The inspector's comments included "...harmonious - nice long lines...feminine expression...nice elastic, ground covering mover."
Ithika is a very personable, loving filly that loves to be around people of all ages. She stands for the farrier like a princess and is easy to load in the trailer and bathe in the wash stall. Very easy going out in the pasture. She is now a beautiful three year old with an elegant trot and powerful canter, it is easy to see that she should perform well in both dressage and over fences. She is double lining with ease and moving forward with relaxation of movement under saddle in both the walk and the trot. We expect great things of this horse next year. She will be inspected this summer.
